Cookies

A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. This site also uses local storage for the consent choice. Neither is required for reading the studies, fees, or field notes.

Types we use

Essential. The consent record remembers Accept or Reject so the banner does not return on every page load. Rejecting does not close the site.

Analytics. These run only after Accept. They help us see which public pages are opened, not who you are in a study.

No advertising cookies are set. We do not use third-party advertising networks on this site.

Third parties

Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. That request is a connection to Google’s servers and is not our analytics cookie. If you block third-party connections, the layout still works with the browser’s ordinary typefaces.

How to manage or disable cookies

Use the banner’s Reject button, or clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser. You can also use the browser’s site settings to block storage. If you reject or clear storage, the banner may appear again on a later visit.

Disabling analytics cookies does not stop a form from sending, and it does not cancel a commissioned study. It only stops the optional page counts described above.

More on personal data is in the privacy notice.
