Terms of engagement

These terms apply when you commission a feature adoption study, launch readout, event map review, or adoption workshop from Web Studio Core (“we”, “us”) at webstudiocore.click. By sending a request, accepting a quote, or paying a booking sum, you accept them.

Parties and the work

The work is professional analysis and facilitation described in the quote. It is not the sale of software, a subscription, or a licence. Deliverables are the written account, maps, notes, and sittings named in that quote.

Acceptance

A quote is an offer for ten days. A booking sum of fifty percent accepts the offer and holds the start week. Email from the address you used on the quote is sufficient acceptance.

Your materials

You warrant that event exports, recordings you share, and introductions to interviewees are lawfully provided. You remain responsible for consent, employment rules, and any duty of confidentiality you owe to the people on your app.

Intellectual property

You may use the written account inside your organisation, including with investors and regulators you already deal with. You may not publish the account as if it were your own research, or resell it. Our interview guides, teaching sheets, and unmarked methods remain ours. We may describe the type of feature in general terms in later field notes, without naming you, unless you have asked in writing for silence.

Confidentiality

We keep your exports and the names of interviewees on a need-to-know basis inside Web Studio Core. We do not use them to pitch other clients. On request at the end of the engagement we delete copies we hold, except invoices and the minimum needed for tax and dispute records in Malaysia.

Liability

We do not decide whether you ship, withdraw, or keep a feature. Our account is an opinion based on the window and materials you provided. To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for lost profits, lost reputation, or product decisions you take after a readout.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek interim relief where your materials are at risk.

Changes

If a later quote states different terms for that piece of work, the quote wins for that piece only.
